Newsround with Dave Davis returns with just six days remaining in the transfer window and Liverpool facing a huge decision over their attacking recruitment.

Dave breaks down the dramatic developments surrounding Yankuba Minteh, with Liverpool's pursuit effectively on hold after Brighton increased their demands and the Reds refused to meet the valuation. Is the deal genuinely dead, could Brighton lower their price, or is this simply another stage of a high-stakes transfer poker game?

Attention then turns to Liverpool's alternatives. Could the Reds circle back to Ibrahim Mbaye, despite PSG's asking price? Dave examines why Minteh and Mbaye appear to fit the profile Liverpool want — explosive one-v-one wingers who also offer significant defensive work — and asks how far down the recruitment list Liverpool may now have to go.

There's also discussion around Richard Hughes and Liverpool's recruitment strategy, possible internal solutions including Dominik Szoboszlai on the right, and whether Liverpool can still deliver the reinforcements they need before the window slams shut.
