A guest exploited an Airbnb glitch to check in at 11 a.m. instead of the 4 p.m. listing time, walked into an uncleaned unit still occupied by the previous checkout, then became verbally abusive when cleaners arrived - screaming, threatening lawsuits, and calling police. The glitch allows guests to select any check-in time they want during booking, which property management systems like Hostfully don't display to hosts until after acceptance. Stevie explains the danger: if a psycho guest uses this glitch to enter early and encounters previous guests or cleaners, violence could erupt.

The episode covers the 26-hour ordeal waiting for Airbnb to cancel the reservation, the safety risk to cleaning staff, dealing with an unresponsive guest who then exploded, police calling it a "civil matter", and the system fixes Sharebnb implemented: never send door codes more than 10 minutes before check-in, and manually verify every booking in the Airbnb app to catch guest-selected check-in times that the PMS misses.
