After 41 years of dedicated service to the Town of Prescott Valley, Chief Building Official Woody Lewis has announced his retirement, effective August 25, 2026. Woody is the longest-tenured employee in the Town’s history. He began his public service career in 1985 as Prescott Valley’s only Building Inspector, back when the community had no paved roads. As Chief Building Official in the Development Services Department, Woody has performed plan reviews and building inspections, ensured structures are compliant and safe, and contributed countless hours to supporting Prescott Valley’s success.
