We’re talking about running backs. EJ Barthel answered questions from the media on Tuesday. The Nebraska running backs coach is confident about his group, though not providing any hints on the playing order for next week when the Huskers open their football season. Mekhi Nelson, Isaiah Mozee and Jamal Rule lead a group that Barthel described as his most talented in four years at Nebraska.

Nelson addressed the July incident that marred his offseason. We’ve got audio (and video on YouTube) of his words. And Rule, the freshman, gave us the most entertaining moment of August in the media room. He shared how he has fallen in love with bowling. Also, the Big Ten and the SEC are banning NFL players from their college football team. What an idea.
