🚨 Florida is removing four vaccines from the school-entry list: Hepatitis B, chickenpox, Hib, and pneumococcal. That is the news. The real question is older.
Who owns the child — the parent, or the system?
Tonight on The Ryan Samuels Show: parental rights, individual conscience, and the fight inside the Church. Attorney General James Uthmeier told Florida’s bishops Catholic schools must honor religious exemptions. Archbishop Thomas Wenski said no — because the vaccines “do not violate Church teachings.” Some of those shots were developed on cell lines taken from aborted children. Rome says they may be used when there is no alternative. Rome also says vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral duty.
We also confront the fraud in the language of rights: bodily autonomy to end a child’s life, but not to protect a living child from a product a parent and doctor may reject.
The family comes before the form. The child comes before the excuse.
