Af: Die reën het sag teen die groot vensters van die klein, knus teewinkel in Stellenbosch geval.
En: The rain fell softly against the large windows of the small, cozy tea shop in Stellenbosch.

Af: Binne was dit warm en beskermend, vol die geur van vars gebroude tee.
En: Inside, it was warm and comforting, filled with the scent of freshly brewed tea.

Af: Die tafels was van hout, die lig gedemp en gesellig.
En: The tables were wooden, the light soft and inviting.

Af: Riaan het by sy gewone tafel gesit, sy hande om 'n stomende koppie verbena tee gevou.
En: Riaan sat at his usual table, his hands wrapped around a steaming cup of verbena tea.
