Description
Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, is a chronic condition that affects your central nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. In a healthy nervous system, nerve fibres are protected by a coating called myelin, which works like insulation around an electrical wire and allows nerve signals to travel quickly and smoothly.
