Published 19 hours ago
Description
The head of NZME says the company has delivered a positive half year result, returning to profit.
The media firm, owner of outlets including Newstalk ZB and the NZ Herald, has posted a net-profit after tax of $6.6 million dollars.
Net debt reduced by nearly $14 million - to $19.4 million dollars.
Chief executive Michael Boggs says it's still a volatile environment.
"The market indicators still say that - well, consumer confidence is increasing, business confidence is increasing. Everyone's doing it tough."
