In just over three years, Sonia has built one of the UKs fastest growing healthtech startups. 01Health announced a $15mn Series A raise last week (Dental Town) , to coincide with the launch of the 01Health platform for dental practices, practice groups, and DSOs across the UK and US. An Oxford-trained NHS A&E doctor and former BCG consultant, Dr Szamocki founded 01Health after seeing firsthand how specialist healthcare remained concentrated in hospitals and major cities, while the local clinics closest to many patients lacked the infrastructure, oversight, and operational systems needed to deliver more advanced care. 

As a former BCG consultant advising organisations on technology strategy, and as a founder building AI infrastructure inside a clinical environment, Sonia has seen both sides of the coin.

01Health is an end-to-end enterprise platform designed specifically for multi-site dental groups and DSOs. It provides practice leadership with a single interface that tracks the entire patient journey, from first lead, through education, conversion, and clinical workflow, into specialist sign-off, device manufacture, and procurement. The commercial launch follows a 12-month scaled pilot with a select group of enterprise partners.
