Billified Bite - The Talk We’re Not Having With Boys
Season 1
Episode 1105
Published 4 hours ago
Description
Bill turns 55, celebrates with an Irish whiskey birthday shot from a Rolling Stones bottle, and proves that getting older does not automatically mean becoming more responsible. But beneath the birthday chaos, questionable decisions, and usual Billified nonsense is one of the show’s most important conversations.
Are we clearly teaching boys what consent actually means—or are we allowing pornography, social media, locker-room mythology, and trial-and-error to do the teaching for us?
Consent cannot simply mean, “She didn’t say no.” Young men need honest guidance about boundaries, pressure, intoxication, changing someone’s mind, reading uncertainty, and understanding that consent should be clear, mutual, ongoing, and freely given. That education protects women, but it also helps prevent boys from entering adulthood confused, misinformed, and one terrible decision away from becoming an offender.
This is not about making excuses for harmful behavior. It is about intervening before the harm happens.
The crew also tackles aging, relationships, bad decisions, and the unsettling realization that Bill is now 55—old enough to offer wisdom, but apparently still requiring adult supervision.
It is funny, grounded, uncomfortable, and necessary: real talk about raising better men before the courts are forced to teach lessons that parents, schools, and communities should have taught first.
