Description
#Rolandoromero #Teofimolopez #daznboxing
🎙️ It’s fight day in Las Vegas, and friendship is officially on hold.
WBA welterweight champion Rolando “Rolly” Romero makes his first title defense against Teofimo Lopez, who jumps to 147 pounds looking to become a three-division champion. Romero enters at 17-2 with 13 KOs after shocking Ryan Garcia, while Lopez is 22-2 with 13 KOs and trying to erase the memory of his one-sided loss to Shakur Stevenson.
They’ve sparred together. They know each other’s families. Rolly once called Teofimo his “little brother.” Tonight, none of that matters.
We’re breaking down the size, speed, power, psychology, betting line, keys to victory and giving our FINAL prediction.
Friends yesterday. Business tonight. Who leaves Vegas with the WBA belt??
Reports of payment issues involving a Saudi-backed boxing business raise a bigger question: has boxing's era of seemingly unlimited money hit a speed bump?
