Her story explores the fear that accompanies a serious diagnosis, the physical and emotional challenges of treatment, and the importance she places on remaining present, maintaining hope, and becoming an active advocate for one's own care. Her earlier book, Lifeline, also chronicled her struggle with serious illness and the spiritual resources she drew upon during that journey. During this emotional and inspiring interview, Rob and Chidi discuss cancer, survival, fear, faith, resilience, self-advocacy, spirituality, and the psychological impact of life-threatening illness. Chidi shares lessons learned from confronting mortality and explains how her professional background in psychology, rehabilitation, and disability analysis influenced the way she approached her own medical challenges.
