DISASTER: New Orleans Saints’ Depth Exposed As Penalties, Injuries Pile Up In Brutal Loss

Episode 2724 Published 1 month, 1 week ago

Description

The New Orleans Saints were completely outclassed in a 34-0 preseason loss to the Los Angeles Rams, sparking urgent questions about the team’s depth, readiness, and injury woes. Quarterbacks Zach Wilson and Spencer Rattler both failed to separate in the backup role, each plagued by turnovers and inconsistency, while the offense suffered from familiar red zone struggles and special teams blunders.

Kendre Miller stood out as a rare positive, staying healthy despite a depleted running back corps. Penalties, injuries, and procedure issues resurfaced, all echoing last season’s persistent problems.

With starters like Tyler Shough, Chris Olave, Chase Young, and Kool-Aid McKinstry rested, New Orleans saw little hope from their backups and watched red flags multiply ahead of the team's preseason finale with the Dallas Cowboys.
