It's increasingly looking like the H5 N1 strain of bird flu is here to stay in Australia after more than 80 birds were found either dead or sick on South Australia's south-east coast.
The federal government has allocated more funding to try and manage the outbreak.
But wildlife rescuers are worried sick animals are being left to die.
