Description

A dozen 'IndyCar' drivers are set to take the track at the 'Freedom 250 Grand Prix' this weekend, racing around the streets of Washington, D.C. The 1.7-mile track will have drivers speeding passed the U.S. Capitol and around the National Mall for 147 laps in what is expected to be a spectacular event in racing. The fun begins Saturday morning when IndyCar holds its first practice session with the main race starting Sunday afternoon live on FOX.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers speaks with Marcus Ericsson, Swedish racing driver, who competes in the IndyCar Series for Andretti, and will be racing in the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, who says every driver in the race is excited to speed through the U.S. capital.
