Episode Details

The letters themselves are extraordinary. Pride and Prejudice references, apologies for losing focus, a line about him being her guardian and protector. Alongside them is the earlier reporting that Harp spent her first year in the White House without a security clearance while sitting beside the president for twelve or more hours a day, with world leaders routing messages through her.

Melania Trump made a public appearance the same day, her first in some time. Hawk does not think that is a coincidence.

Also in here: TMZ footage of Mitch McConnell on the Senate floor ten days before his hospitalization, and nine weeks without a public appearance since. Trump sitting for an interview on Michael Cohen's podcast, with George Conway's reaction. And the Cook Political Report on eight Republican Senate seats now in play.
