British police found 41-year-old Dr. Jason Arday unresponsive in his South London home on Friday, just weeks after the young professor resigned from his position with the prestigious Cambridge University. When he was named professor of sociology back in 2023 at the age of 37, he became the youngest black professor in the University’s history. He soon became the subject of questions and scrutiny for some of his published work and his seemingly remarkable personal backstory where Arday claimed he was non-verbal until age 11.
