Anne describes encounters her daughter reported with mantis-like beings, a humanoid monkey figure carrying a sword, a being made of rock, fairies, shadow figures, demons, angels, and other entities seemingly existing beyond our normal perception. An initially interpreted many of these experiences through a New Age worldview. But as the encounters intensified, An began questioning what she had been practicing and what these entities actually were. She eventually walked away from Reiki and New Age spirituality and began exploring Christianity, deliverance, repentance, and spiritual warfare. She says that calling on Jesus Christ fundamentally changed the battle taking place inside their home.
