It's Not Perfect, but It's Possible (Kingdom Adventurer: Cinderella)
Description
“You know the orders. Then if you don't want to lose a nice warm bed, you'd better get rid of those dreams. Know how? Just learn to like cats. No, I mean it. Lucifer has his good points as well. For one fact, he... Well... sometimes he... Huh... There must be something good about him…. I know it isn't easy, but at least we should try to get along together.” - (Cinderella, Disney’s Cinderella, 1950)
Don’t you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. (Genesis 50:20)
- Kingdom Moment:
Cinderella had every reason to be frustrated with Lucifer, but she still stopped and tried to find something good about him. And Joseph could look at what his brothers intended for his harm and still say, ‘God intended it all for good.’ Today’s Kingdom Moment is not pretending that wrong is right, that it's always good all the time, or excusing what they did–it’s refusing to let what's bad, and what was meant to hurt you, have the final word. Look for something good, choose the Kingdom response, and trust God to redeem the rest.
- Verses for Thought:
Genesis 50:20 / Romans 8:28 / Matthew 19:26 / Mark 10:27 / Psalm 23:5
