Sometimes we’re asked to do something we know is wrong.
Pharaoh ordered two midwives to kill the Hebrew baby boys.
“But the midwives feared God; they did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them” — from Exodus 1:17
They couldn’t change Pharaoh’s command, but they could refuse to carry it out.
We may not be able to change the system, but we don’t have to go along with it.
