Isack Hadjar’s "wrist injurty" has unexpectedly sent Liam Lawson back to Red Bull and Yuki Tsunoda back to Racing Bulls. At the same circuit where Lawson made his F1 debut in 2023...in similar circumstances! Beyond the ridiculous coincidence though, this weekend could tell us a lot about how Red Bull now handles its drivers in such scenarios.
There’s also the uncomfortable advantage of Red Bull owning two teams being put on full display for its critics. For me? This is NOT redemeption for either Liam or Yuki, but simply a chance to help their teams out in their own F1 battles.
