Followed by The Green Lama starring Paul Frees, originally broadcast August 20, 1949, 77 years ago, The Adventures of the Perfect Prisoner. The last show of the series. A talented sculptor named Frank Cobb is about to be pardoned from a "model prison." However, he's knifed to death before he can be officially told about the pardon. The Green Lama deals with a prison riot and an escape attempt by one hundred armed inmates.
Then, Suspense, originally broadcast August 20, 1961, 65 years ago, Murder is a Matter of Opinion. Two brothers at college plan to fake a murder, but the blanks in the gun turn out to be very real bullets. Can an innocent man be convicted of murder...and executed?
