🚨 Tonight on The Ryan Samuels Show: They told women the home was a prison and motherhood was oppression. We bought it. Now look at the wreckage.
Women’s labor force participation soared from 33% in 1948 to nearly 60% at its peak. Stay-at-home mothers in two-parent homes went from common to the exception. No-fault divorce exploded. Marriage declined. Forty percent of births are now to unmarried women. The share of children living with two parents dropped from 85% to about 70%. Fertility crashed from 3.5 children per woman to 1.6. Women’s reported happiness fell even as opportunities rose.
The data is clear: kids do worse in broken homes. Father absence predicts poverty, crime, and failure. The “you can have it all” myth produced burnout, delayed families, and a society that cannot replace itself.
And now the extreme: Lindsay Clancy, a labor-and-delivery nurse, strangled her three children—Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and 8-month-old Callan—then jumped from a window. The trial is underway. The same ideology that devalued motherhood now treats her as the victim and anyone who calls it filicide as the problem.
This is not first-wave feminism. This is the later version that treated the nuclear family as the enemy. Strong nations are built by strong families. We spent 60 years pretending otherwise. The kids, the empty cribs, and the body count say we were wrong.
