It’s been nearly a year since convicted mushroom killer Erin Patterson was sentenced to life in prison with a non parole period of 33 years. But this week, she’s back in court for two separate appeals – one from her, one from prosecutors. Today, we’ll explain why Patterson’s lawyers are fighting to overturn her convictions, while prosecutors are fighting to make her sentence even harsher.
