For ten years I worked with a client who became a friend. To protect her family, in this episode I call her María. Her story begins with the most ordinary question in real estate: "When do you think we can close?" — and it ends up teaching us something much bigger: preparing does not mean giving up. Preparing is also a way of caring for the people we love.
