Story Transcript:
Cy: Cysgodd haul yr haf ar ddyfroedd Bae Caerdydd, gan lawenhau'r dŵr a'i wneud yn sgleiniog fel aelwyd teuluol ar noswaith Nadolig.
En: The summer sun slept on the waters of Bae Caerdydd, brightening the water and making it shine like a family hearth on Christmas Eve.
Cy: Roedd carthffosydd y ddinas yn tawelu wrth wylio'r môr i weld.
En: The city's sewers calmed as they watched the sea.
Cy: Ac wrth y lan, cerddodd tri pherson gyda'i gilydd, bron a pheidio â siarad.
En: And by the shore, three people walked together, almost without speaking.
Cy: Roedd Iestyn, yn driw a hamddenol fel arfer, wedi trefnu'r cyfarfod hwn, yn dal eog wedi ei ogwyddo'n berffaith.
En: Iestyn, true and relaxed as usual, had arranged this meeting, holding a perfectly skewered salmon.
Cy: Roedd ei feddwl wedi bod yn drwm â phwysigrwydd y diwrnod hwn.
En: His mind had been heavy with the importance of this day.
Cy: Gafaelodd Rhiannon yn nerthol, ei llygaid yn syllu dros yr hen bontau a'r henebion lle bu eu plantgarwch.
En: Rhiannon grasped tightly, her eyes gazing over the old bridges and monuments where their fondness had been.
Cy: "Pam yma?" gofynnodd, yn ei llais pryderus.
En: "Why here?" she asked, in her anxious voice.
Cy: Roedd swyn hen bryderon yn tyfu fel gwenyn yng nghregyn bywiog Rhiannon.
En: The charm of old worries was growing like bees in Rhiannon's lively shells.
Cy: "Rwy'n meddwl," atebodd Iestyn yn dawel.
En: "I think," replied Iestyn quietly.
Cy: "Roedd yn fan hapus i ni i gyd. Gobeithio, Rhiannon. Mae gobaith yn bwysig."
En: "It was a happy place for all of us. Hope, Rhiannon. Hope is important."
Cy: Gadawodd Geraint ei fodsig ar ei ôl, yn swil a diolchgar i fod yno.
En: Geraint left his stick behind, shy and grateful to be there.
Cy: "Dw i wedi colli'r lle 'ma," meddai'n dawel, swati wrth wrando ar y sŵn tonau'r mor.
En: "I've missed this place," he said quietly, listening to the sound of the sea waves.
Cy: Roedd yn wallgofan iddo, ac efallai yn gyfle i longyfarch heddwch.
En: It was a frenzy for him, and perhaps an opportunity to celebrate peace.
Cy: Pan aethpwyd at lawr glaswellt ger yr hen doc, roedd y triongl heb ei dorri.
En: When they reached the grassy floor near the old dock, the triangle was unbroken.
Cy: Eiliad wylofus o dawelwch.
En: A tearful moment of silence.
Cy: "Oes," taro Geraint, "mae'n amser siarad."
En: "Yes," chimed in Geraint, "it's time to talk."
Cy: Roedd ei lygad yn gadael naws o reid ac argyhoeddiad.
En: His eye left a sense of ride and conviction.
Cy: Aethant ati i adrodd eu si storïau, pob un yn araf yn datgloi hen gyfrinachau.
En: They proceeded to recount their stories, each one slowly unlocking old secrets.
Cy: Roedd gwreichion ceredr yn cychwyn yn araf, a gafodd eu troi’n dan.
En: Sparkling embers began slowly, and were turned into flames.
Cy: Yn fflamau siffrwd, galwyd hyfforddiad enaid.
En: In whispering flames, a soul's training was called forth.
Cy: Dwedodd Rhiannon: "Mae’r pethau rydyn ni'n eu cadw yn ein poenio ond mae'r gwirionedd yn cyfleu cysur."
En: Rhiannon said: "The things we keep hurt us, but the truth conveys comfort."
Cy: Disgynnodd y gwirioneddau like cysuron o law.
En: The truths fell like raindrops of comfort.
Cy: Daethant i'r wyneb, a trwy hynny daeth trylwyredd ffres.
