Josh Sigurdson reports on the claims by President Donald Trump that the Strait of Hormuz is 100% open and controlled by the United States with what he calls a big "steel wall." This is simply not the case. Iran has not made any deals, the conversations have gone quiet according to other countries involved in the process and we are seeing near three month lows of ship traffic in the Strait.

As Dr. Ron Paul says in this video, this would be great positive news if it were true. It is however not true at all. As Daniel McAdams reported, Trump is living in a different reality.

While oil prices bumped up slightly, there are still major shortages facing Americans leading to higher prices at the gas pump. Under President Biden, Americans were told that the economy had never been better. We knew this was untrue and President Trump during the election used this obvious fact to bring in votes. Now, President Trump who recently claimed he doesn't care about how high gas prices get if it means Iran "doesn't have nuclear weapons" claims the economy has never been better. We all know this is false.

It's unfortunately going to get a lot worse. Not only do all fiat currencies eventually revert to their true value of zero but alongside tariffs and wartime shortages, we face an economic crisis right down to the food we eat.

Meanwhile, the technocrats like Elon Musk claim we will not have poverty in the future and will be able to sit at home doing nothing and owning nothing under a new UBI scheme. This would be the end of basic human independence. It's also a very convenient thing to push in the face of manufactured crises that lead to shortages and poverty.

As the saying goes, "problem, reaction, solution, repeat." The Hegelian Dialectic is in full swing today.

The Strait is not "100% open" as President Trump claims and the latest claimed deals will likely go nowhere.
