Episode Details

During The Charlie James Show broadcast live from the Anderson Civic Center, host Charlie James discusses behind-the-scenes controversy regarding an upcoming debate between candidates Ralph Norman and "the Duchess" (Darline Graham). The debate, organized by the South Carolina GOP and Newsmax, faced pushback from the Graham campaign due to perceived bias in Newsmax's reporting. Consequently, the campaign threatened to pull out unless South Carolina Educational Television (SCETV) was included. James criticizes the campaign's preference for SCETV and questions the fairness of the arrangement, while also noting that host station WORD was completely ignored when offering to assist with the event. Callers chime in to voice frustration with the political maneuvering and debate terms.
