Episode Details

Brohemian Grove VIP Day goes live from The Standard for an intimate Bible study on how to hear God’s voice, develop intimacy with God, understand spiritual warfare, and build a real relationship with Jesus Christ. The Raven is joined by Ed Mabrie, Laura Baker, Matt, and later Bryan of Demon Erasers for a wide-ranging discussion about Scripture, prayer, worship, deliverance, the Holy Spirit, and the supernatural worldview of the Bible.

The conversation begins with a central question: What does it actually mean to know God instead of simply knowing information about God? Laura Baker shares how her search for truth led her back to Scripture and the promise that the Holy Spirit will guide believers into truth. Ed Mabrie explains his own journey through doubt, questions, college skepticism, and eventually learning to recognize what he describes as the “still, small voice” of God.

The Bible study explores the world, the flesh, the devil, and God as competing voices, God’s desire to be known as Father, the spirit of adoption, authentic prayer, confession in 1 John 1:9, and why honesty with God matters.

The discussion then moves deeper into Christian spiritual warfare and deliverance, including renouncing occult involvement, generational iniquity, demonic influence, spiritual authority, Joseph Jordan’s research, and the relationship between spoken words, prayer, thoughts, and the spiritual realm. Bryan of Demon Erasers joins the Q&A to share his perspective from deliverance ministry.
They also discuss biblical worship beyond music, Abraham and Isaac, giving God the “first fruits” of your day, gratitude, daily Bible reading, and Ed’s explanation of the Divine Council, Eden, the Elohim, Micaiah, Stephen, and concepts influenced by the work of Dr. Michael Heiser.

What practices have helped you draw closer to God and recognize His voice? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments.
