En: The sun shone on the ngrianán illuminating the grounds of Chorcaí.

Ga: Bhí an suaimhneas sa spéir, ach bhí rud éigin ag brú i gCroí Eamon.
En: There was calmness in the sky, but something was pressing on Croí Eamon.

Ga: Bhí an lá céanna lán le geallúintí agus eagla.
En: The day was full of promises and fears.
