Cloud 9 Vets argues that this lack of distinction hinders pet owners' ability to make informed decisions. Their research indicates that a significant number of pet owners are unaware of the availability of at-home euthanasia services, and many express a preference for having a plan in place for end-of-life care. Cloud 9 Vets has also requested that the Competition and Markets Authority allow veterinary businesses to meet cremation disclosure requirements by linking to a list of regional crematoria, rather than naming a single provider, to ensure accuracy for clients.
