-Last year was a good year for special teams in Mike Ekeler’s return to coaching the unit, but he’s moved on to USC---and now we have

legitimate questions on how things will look in all facets of special teams. How do you make the leap to 8-9 wins without special teams being a

huge factor? It probably needs to be a huge part of the team…

-STs coordinator Brett Maher will speak to media today (as well as Geep Wade and Corey Brown) as we get some sort of intel into what things

are looking like in Fall camp….Matt Rhule said the other day that he thinks Jacory Barney is one of the top kick/punt returners in the

country….will it help in game-changing plays?
