As the midterms approach, Trump tied crime to a larger theme, warning people on the consequences of communism.
Luigi Mangione, the man accused of the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in 2024, pled guilty to two federal stalking charges. Mangione faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and will remain in federal custody pending his sentencing, which is set for Dec. 18.
