  Sixty-nine Arizona high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors have been selected for the 2026-2027 Governor's Youth Commission, representing urban, rural, and tribal communities across all 15 counties in the state. Established in 1989, the commission is Arizona's statewide youth advisory body, run through the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family. Students are chosen through a competitive application process and serve one year terms, working alongside peers from around the state on volunteerism, service learning, and civic engagement. This year's group will be organized into five workgroups covering conservation and sustainability, education, domestic violence, mental health, and substance use...
