Description
Coventry City are reported to have agreed deals for two forwards with the Premier League opener at Arsenal on Friday. Sky Sports News report an agreement with Nottingham Forest for Nigeria striker Taiwo Awoniyi, a permanent move worth up to seventeen million pounds, with the medical already taken place, and Awoniyi given a guard of honour by the Forest squad as he said goodbye to the home crowd at half time of their friendly against Brest. Fabrizio Romano had the same agreement on Saturday, without a fee. Sky also have Coventry closing in on nineteen year old Fenerbahce forward Sidiki Cherif, with a medical set for Sunday before he finalises his contract, and the Turkish reporting has a five year deal. The fee is not agreed across the reports, running from twenty and a half million pounds upwards. Neither signing has been announced by the club.
