Dan sits down and casually announces, “I need a vacation from myself.” And honestly… who doesn’t?
This episode of Billified starts with the Bills, obstructed seats, Hoochenanny and a trip back to the absolute insanity of Woodstock ’99 — then somehow turns into a therapy session nobody scheduled.
Bill and Dan get into anxiety, overthinking, the inner critic and why sometimes you don’t need seven days in the Caribbean — you need three hours where your brain loses Wi-Fi. Then there’s the bigger problem: our brains may want a break, but our phones absolutely refuse to give us one.
From livestreaming every stupid decision, Ring cameras and a world where everybody has become the nosy neighbor, to Venmo broadcasting who bought Karen a margarita, we’ve voluntarily built our own surveillance state — and apparently we're fine with it as long as we occasionally get hilarious footage of somebody falling on the ice.
Plus: what would our dads think if they came back and saw this shit? Why you shouldn't put words in dead people's mouths, the lost beauty of boredom, splitting restaurant checks like forensic accountants, Bills preseason expectations, and the important realization that once upon a time you could take a dump without bringing the entire internet with you.
