Casey Davis is the Executive Director of the Edmonds Food Bank, and Kellie Lewis is the Marketing and Communications Manager. In this program, we learn the history of this food bank, which Casey joined in 2018, just ahead of the early era of the COVID pandemic.  With that timing, she found a great pivot in providing the best and most dignified services for people facing food insecurity.  And that is an important phrasing, understanding that food insecurity can have numerous disguises.  It might be a parent saying they are fasting, and in this way, they are making sure their children have the nutrition they need. The need for good has only kept growing. There are great volunteer opportunities at the Edmonds Food Bank, and donations are gratefully appreciated.
