Description
The Six Shooter, “Silver Annie,” originally broadcast October 11, 1953, is episode 4 of the NBC western series. James Stewart stars as drifting cowpoke Britt Ponset in this Frank Burt script, produced and directed by Jack Johnstone.
Britt rides into Virtue City as the town pushes for a railroad route across the land of Annie Huxley—better known as Silver Annie. With a shotgun and a firm refusal to surrender her property, Annie stands at the center of a growing dispute between a frontier town, the railroad, and one fiercely independent landowner. Jeanette Nolan co-stars.
