Published 2 months ago
Description
CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “The Aaron Burr Murder Case,” episode 180, originally broadcast on November 28, 1974. Written by Sam Dann and produced and directed by Himan Brown, the drama features Jack Grimes, Joan Shay, George Petrie, William Redfield, and Leon Janney.
During a film reenactment of the famous 1804 duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton, a pistol meant to fire blanks instead delivers a fatal shot. What seems to be a terrible on-set accident draws police scrutiny as the past casts a disturbing shadow over the present.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
