He says there is no question they want to talk to her, and that if she wants justice for survivors she should work with them.

That reading rests on her own April statement, delivered from a White House podium, reportedly without clearing it with the president or his staff, calling on Congress to act. Hawk's point is that House Democrats noticed, and that the position she took is the opposite of what nearly every Republican and every member of the cabinet has said.
