Big Party is back from **Decorah, Iowa**, and apparently Iowa has been hiding waterfalls, trout streams, limestone bluffs, cold springs, wooded hills, and magical little barns like it’s no big deal. Who knew? Not us. Not Big Party. Not the dogs.

This episode kicks off with a full breakdown of Big Party’s trip to the **Driftless Area**, where he and Wyleen tested whether Remy and Tequila could handle a real vacation. Spoiler: the girls crushed it. There were trails, flowers, springs, Dunning’s Spring, an ice cave, a trout hatchery, storms, no TV, and an old-timey radio that somehow became part of the vibe.

Then we take a hard left into the legend of **Chippy the Colorado chipmunk**, a tiny woodland buddy with a tinfoil hat, a cape, and apparently enough emotional damage to become a full vacation memory. Molly asks the obvious question: did Big Party really plan a goodbye trip for a chipmunk? Yes. Yes, he did.

We also get into dog travel, cats who disappear for a week but still eat, Murray’s hallway hair nest, back-to-school chaos, Chicago tornado warnings, pumpkin spice versus pumpkin pie flavor, and Molly’s coffee maker dying after 12 years of service like a true kitchen soldier.
