A new 6% surcharge is being applied to all purchases at Highmark Stadium. The money from the tax will go toward a fund for future stadium improvements. Erie County Comptroller Kevin Hardwick tells WBEN Erie County taxpayers are getting a better deal now as only stadium-goers will have to pay for those improvements.
