What is dispensationalism? What is the alternate view, covenant theology? Many Christians don’t understand why dispensationalism is being attacked with such vigor; perhaps those doing the attacking don’t either but the prevailing mood today is, there is no rapture or at least not one that takes the Christians out of the world before judgment. And Israel? Well, they aren’t even in the picture and what’s more, that’s not Israel over in, well, Israel. On today’s SUFTT, Mary starts with biblical interpretive systems of prophecy and from there expands on the really big picture of dispensationalism and how it beautifully fits the historical-grammatical-literal interpretation of Scripture.
