Gus Grillasca is recognized as the first cryptoartist in Latin America and one of the earliest global pioneers in the creation and dissemination of digital collectibles and NFTs.

Gus also has an extensive, two decade long background in biochemistry and engineering, bringing a systems-thinking approach to visual art. So his work intersects money and decentralized systems with science and philosophy, with a focus on Bitcoin’s cultural and ideological impact.

As an illustrator since childhood and a scientist, Gus Grillasca's work spans from ink on paper, acrylic, sculpture, and mixed media—rooted in visual storytelling, dance, literature, music, philosophy, and science. His creative practice is inseparable from economic thinking. He has been a Bitcoiner since 2014, captivated by its potential to redefine value, private property, and decentralized systems.
