In 1987, Earth’s first expedition to Mars lands expecting an alien landscape—but discovers a remarkably familiar Midwestern town that appears drawn from 1920s America. As the crew encounters impossible reminders of home, Captain Black and Dr. Horst face a growing mystery of nostalgia, memory, and whether anything on Mars can be trusted.
