Evening Edition: What We Know About President Trump's Secret Plane Switch

Published 11 hours ago
Description

President Trump said this week that the decision to switch aircrafts to leave the NATO Summit in Turkey was made at the direction of his security detail and the military. Staff and members of the traveling press pool stayed on the original plane but were told to strictly keep the window shades closed throughout the flight, which prevented them from seeing a fighter jet escort. How and why were these decisions made, and how great of a threat did the President and the press face?

FOX’s Gurnal Scott speaks with Charles A. Marino, a former DHS adviser and a former Secret Service special agent, and author of the book 'Terrorists On The Border And In Our Country', who says disinformation and misinformation are important tools to keep the President safe.
