A Queer Arcana
Full Moon Party at the Palm Springs Art Musuem

I’m so excited to announce that I’m teaming up with the Palm Springs Art Museum for their exhibition, A Queer Arcana, which celebrates queer artists from the last century who have used esoteric practices, including tarot, as sources of inspiration, healing, creativity, and resistance.

To celebrate the exhibition, I’ve brought together a team of dear friends and fellow queer tarot readers who will be offering mini tarot readings during the opening event on the Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, August 28th, at the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Joining us will be Corinna Rosella of Milk Thistle, husbands Brandon Alter and Angel Lopez of The Spiritual Gayz, and Mr. Starry Skies Alan, also known as Mantis Tarot, a tarot author. All five of us will be there offering mini readings throughout the evening, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!

There’s also something especially meaningful to me about this exhibition. My beloved teacher, Rachel Pollack, who passed away a few years ago, is represented in the exhibit through the original artwork from her tarot deck, displayed in a glass case alongside other feminist tarot decks and works of esoteric art. Rachel was the author of 78 Degrees of Wisdom and Tarot Wisdom, and their work profoundly shaped my own relationship with tarot.
