Hindsight is challenging the assumption that bigger AI models are always better. Its sub-600M-parameter ensemble reportedly achieved 97.9% accuracy detecting coded language, including hidden slang, leetspeak, misspellings, and extremist dog whistles, outperforming larger moderation models from major AI companies. Built largely on a MacBook by founder Dean Gebert, the system uses a three-class moderation architecture designed to reduce both false alarms and missed threats.
