Coventry City have signed Gustavo Hamer from Sheffield United on a long term contract for an undisclosed fee, with both clubs confirming the move. Hamer, who is 29, returns to the Coventry Building Society Arena for a second spell after scoring 19 goals in 132 appearances during his first stint at the club. On re-signing, the attacking midfielder said he was buzzing and that it was the move he wanted to make, and that going to the Premier League with Coventry was something he had always dreamt of.
