Three Baton Rouge churches unite for a powerful community conversation as they celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with “America at 250: From Faith to Formation.” Mount Zion First Baptist, Wesley United Methodist, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic bring together local faith leaders, a historian, and an LSU professor to explore how faith has shaped the city’s history—and how it can guide its future. This free, open-to-all event on August 11 from 6–8 PM at the Goodwood Main Library invites residents to reflect, learn, and collaborate on building a stronger, more united community.
